Namibia National Junior Chess Championships 2012

The Namibia Chess Federation will be hosting the Namibia National Junior Chess Championships this coming weekend, Saturday 13 July 2012. A rapid chess tournament with 20 munites per player is on the cards. Who will win this open event? This is not all, as the first 8 Namibian players will be selected go battle it out to determine the Namibian overall Junior Chess Champion as well as 7 other age group Champions. We have more plans for the kiddies. In November this year we want to sent a team to participate at the World Youth Games in Maribor, Slovenia. There is a lot at stake. We invite all the learners to register by Friday, 13 July 2012 to showcase their talent. The tournament regulations will be posted later. Keep a close eye on this blog.
